Meet Mat, the owner of East Coast Golf Carts & The Battery Boys here in Coffs Harbour NSW. This December, he is taking on The Longest Day – the ultimate golf challenge.
He will be testing his skill, strength and stamina to support the Cancer Council, raising funds for those affected by cancer.
Now, Mat is no stranger to a fitness challenge having participated in multiple Kokoda, UK Commando Course and multiple marathons, but even he admits that The Longest Day will be a challenge unto itself.
To help complete this challenge, he has teamed up with Brandon Connor from the Coffs Harbour Golf Course to raise awareness and donations for the cause.
Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, with two in three Australians diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70, and I want to do something to help change this! Cancer Council is a community-funded organisation, working in local communities to help support people as they navigate their cancer journey.
Show your support to Mat and Brandon by donating to the cause and encouraging others to participate too! Any amount can make a difference!
